Providing too many personal details in an introductionary post as above would provide those with malicious intent an easy opportunity – by not providing too much information you give them some work to do. Even with the information provided above, I could likely be traced back to a local phone-book entry. By not including an email address, I save my email host extra spam filtering – WordPress gets to filter any spam (and me if anything unwanted gets through).
